BLUES THEME #2

This video is the second of two presentations that provides a different approach to the recording of BLUES THEME #2. This video is intended to support the accompanying score (see download link below). It covers the essence of a musical theme upon which both blues and jazz musicians can embellish and improvise in order to fully develop its melodic and harmonic characteristics. The video was produced by blending two takes – one in which the guitarist plays a nylon-string "Sola" guitar, and a second in which a steel-string "Ibanez Quest” is played. The alternate version of this video, BLUES THEME #1, has the nylon-string guitar assuming the lead, while in this video the steel-string guitar plays the lead.
